here' my story

I took a test 3 days prior to af and got a faint positive.i called my doc who did a sonogram and they didn't see anything granted My period was not even due, but they saw a cyst and said I could have a ectopic preg. But my levels went from 92 to 232 in two days and my progesterone is 25. So now she thinks it may not be ectopic. but have to wait till my level hits 1000 to do a sonogram and fingers crossed see something in my uterus... Any advice

I don't know but perhaps its way too early for them to see anything yet. You said you didn't even expect your AF yet.

ASlo my boobs are a size bigger. and oh so paintful. tmi but my nipples are alway 'at attention'

They were able to see my baby on the sono by 6 weeks and it already had a heartbeat. I have no advice except to hang in there and let us know how things are going.

Perhaps its just too early for them to see anything on a sonogram yet. When do you have to go back? I didn't have my first sonogram until I was 7 or 9 weeks along and when we saw the baby it looked like a little peanut. Maybe everything is fine.

THanks moms I am only 5 weeks today and was only 4 weeks at the time of the sono. So hopefully as my doc said there will be a baby waving at me on screen my late this week I had blood drawn today and will have it taken Monday as well..... Thanks for all your support

the sono place my doc sent me to at the beginning told me the same thing...first they thought it was etopic, then they said cyst...then she said it was an empty sac!!
my doc knew i was preggo, and never sent me back there...it was just too soon to see anything...(as in your situation probably)... Just wait another 2 weeks - woah, what a difference 2 weeks will make, especially when it comes to sonograms!

Good Luck, I hope it is all OK. They thought I had etopic preg...but it was all ok and I am sure yours will be fine too!!!

All the best, a guy who attends my church, his wife just had surgery for an etopic pregnancy. Are you in a lot of pain, she was. If you had an etopic pregnancy I think that would have been a sign. I hope all goes well. Please let us know how everything goes.
