here's a different subject line.....OVERWHELMED !!!

lolol- you like the title! seriously, i see so many 'overwhelmed' subjects here - now i'm startin to really get it. however, this little post is a GOOD overwhelmed. Me and FH just got back from our engagment party....honestly I just don't know what to say! we had an WONDERFUL 'Engagment Dinner' in my home town in August - and that was FANTABULOUS!!!! where i come from its a time to get together and say 'Cheers' to the bride and groom. and good stuff like picture frames , figurines, keepsake type of items - which are MY FAVORITE
here - its crystal, tiffany's and checks! holy GEEZE!!!! I'm not meaning this as a slame EITHER way. its just such a different world. I feel tremendously guilty as I feel like we've just opened wedding presents!!! and even as wedding presents they're generous!!!
I'm absolutely BLOWN AWAY by his families generosity! on ALLLL levels! I feel like a thank you note just isn't enough! not to mention his parents and all that they did to host! i'm such a lucky girl to have such WONDERFUL WONDERFUL people as FIL's!!!! lolol - does it tell you what kinda girl i am if i tell you that my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing was the 'Paper Towel Maid' i'll try and attach the photo. has anyone ever seen anything like this? it is just toooooo cute and creative for words!! so - here's the question gals - did any of you get gifts that you felt like they were just too much? if so how did you thank them?

grr. can't get the photos of my paper towel maid gift up. i'll have to re-size them and post later. seriously though -this thing is too cute. its a roll of paper towels with a dish towel wrapped around it...a scrubby sitting on top for the hair and a little face drawn on it. there's a poem attahced that reads...
This Little Lady Came Along Today
She's Hoping You'll Have A Nice Day
She'll Wash your dishes (Scrubbie)
and Dry Them TOO!! (Dish Towel)
And she'l Scrub the Pots

I couldn't even begin to tell you what to get them but once your feet have landed back on land I'm sure you'll figure it out!

I know mine would love a couples massage but I know not everyone is into that.
