You look amazing!! I hate those comments too! I can't even describe how stressed I get the week before my doctor appt!!

I know what you mean about getting stressed before your appointment... My appointments are now 2 weeks apart... not looking forward to that!

You look like you are healthy and thriving...any doctor should be pleased!

I hardly ever eat junk food and that's what's really annoying. I haven't really changed my eating habits from before I got pregnant... I always ate small meals all the time, so I figured there wouldn't be anything to worry about. In the beginning, my husband would only shop at these health food stores, like whole foods, making sure that I was getting folic acid, only eating wheat breads and pastas, no chips (unless of course they were those disgusting folic acid chips)... but I gained a lot when I started that diet.

My husband is crazy when it comes to eating and he knows that it really bothers me when people talk about my weight. I was so glad he was with me at my last appointment, because he always reminds me that I'm going to be back in the gym in no time and things will be just fine. I know they will, but talk about a blow to my ego.

I have a big belly... maybe she'll be a big baby. Who knows, they might have even screwed up on my dating and I'm further along than they think. All I know is that I can't wait for this crazy ride, we affectionately call 'pregnancy,' to be over!

snook my belly is so big. even the doctor said it. i have thought all along they might be a little off on the date, and she finally said last time i was there that it could be a possiblity and to make sure i have things ready a few weeks earlier than my date just in case. which could be the case with anybody of course.

but everybody carries so differently and you look exactly like me - so you are not alone! plus you have no hiney on there! you didn't gain anywhere else. it'll be off before you know it- you and i can be online diet buddies together and keep each other motivated! I mean come on - I have gained 33 pounds now! there's nothing i can do - i dont' even eat cookies! (well some cookies....... )

My lovely doctor mentions that my belly is big. She even wanted me to schedule another ultrasound on the 30th to see how big she is, and also to see if I will be able to deliver this little girl naturally (since I've had problems with the placement of the placenta). So I'm worried that I'll find out that she's like 6 or 7lbs. Then what?! At least I'll see my doctor the day after and she can let me know the game plan. I just want the 30th to get here... but then again I have to finish up 2 grad classes and do all my Christmas shopping, celebrate Christmas... Sometimes it just feels as if time is standing still.

I don't know if I want to continue working after this year. I was going to wait until the 16th to take my maternity leave... but now I don't know. I work in Westchester, and live in the Bronx... I know it's not that far, but I'm a Nervous Nelly... and so is my husband.

I think the whole on-line diet buddy idea is a GREAT idea! I've gained just about the same amount as you... but I'm trying not to remember that dreaded number!

please - my husband wont' even let me drive anymore. it's ridiculous. i am going to stop working after the holiday - i just can't do it anymore - i am too swollen and it is a lot easier to just work from home these days - especially with the snow coming.

just be careful! we'll make it!!!!!
