Heres the bridesmaid dress my bridesmaid picked out...

I took my plus size bridesmaid, just her and I to shop. This is what she picked and I like it, but she couldnt try it on... What do you think?
This is the color my fiance and family wants LOL I like all the colors, so if thats what they want - its good for me :)

Do you think it will look alright on a size 18 or so?? I want her to feel comfortable. Do you think a shawl will be too much with this dress?

I think the dress is REALLy nice.. it's a one piece, right??? I like the color too... I think this a really nice dress!

Is that dress from David's?? If so, I was actually shopping with a friend of mine (I'm one of her BM's) and her plus sized girls tried that dress on and loved it!! They really looked great in it (one was a size 16, the other a 22). It's extremely flattering on a bigger figure, however, for your smaller girls, you might want to go with a different dress in the same color.

I only say this b/c I have to wear that same dress--she wanted us all in the same dress!!! (with thicker shoulder straps) and I look huge in it!!! It isn't very flattering on my figure or the other 'smaller' girls in her party. But, I figured I'd rather 'feel' uncomfortable for the day, then have the plus sized girls look AND feel uncomfortable.

Congrats on finding a great dress for her!!!

ETA: Definitely get the shawl!! It's great for the girls to hide their arms if they don't like them!!

I think it's very nice and I think it would look great on smaller BM too. Anything A-line is very flattering. My girls ranged in size from a 2 to 18-20 and they all looked great in the dress we chose. If you want to look on the review board you will see photos.

I think this style (ALINE) will look the most flattering on a heavier BM.

I think it would look good on just about everyone. A line is very flattering. It's beautiful.

I think it's great that you're paying attention to her and want her to feel as comfortable as possible!! Great Friend!! I also have a plus size girl and with a bridal party of 11 BM they're bound to be MANY body types! You can always opt for them not to ALL wear the same dress. I'm thinking about doing seperates so they might be proportioned better!

I found it at Bridals Suite of Centereach!
Im a size 10 and I looked HOT in it! My fiance picked the color and his sister picked the style - Im sure all my girls will look fine in it and it will go nice with my dress. BTW - even though the pick shows a lot of silver in my dress it is not half as silvery.
