Here's the deal with Jenn the Hair Genie and Oksana

Yes, they are vendors on here. Yes, the do amazing work. I wasn't crazy about my first hair trial but she DID do what i asked, and I am going back on 8/8.

There has been A TON of talk about how they don't w/b in e-mails...so...

Keep in mind that they have been doing weddings like CRAZY!

They do not work together per se, but they do refer and reccommend eachother to the brides. You do not have to book both. You can do just hair or just m/u if you want as far as i know.

Jenn has been very very sick for at least a week now so it's been tough getting in touch with her.

They do not advertise their phone numbers probably b/c it is their cell #'s NOT a salon. They work out of a basement salon set up. It's not like they have a receptionist or something. It's just them.

I am EXTREMELY picky and they have been honestly, 2 of the best vendors to work with, WITH the understanding that i won't get a quick response in an e-mail. However, when you go there for your trial, they give you all of their contact info on a business card.

I hope this helps some of you who were or are doubting them. You see what i'm going through with my rings, so you know i'm pretty much a no-BS type of girl, so i wouldn't reccomend them if i had a problem.

i just feel bad bc it seems like jenn's getting some bad press because ::gasp:: she's not feeling well and hasn't been on top of her emails...god forbid...........

Very well stated, even though it should never even have to come to this point.

As a bride we sometimes get caught up in getting things done ASAP and expect vendors to answer every single response - via email or telephone in nanoseconds. Patience is worth it ladies - it really is.

i agree, some people think that just because they are getting married, everyone around them should stop what they are doing and cater to their every whim.

Let me just say that I got married this past Friday and Jenn and Oksana were BY FAR my favorite vendors. They are AMAZING!!! Jenn even helped me get dressed and she was just getting over a stomach flu!! I could never say a bad word about either of them. And I got so many compliments on how beautiful my hair and make-up were....I would recommend them to everyone!

I used Jenn for my wedding and she was my fav vendor!!! Shes amazing!!!!

i'm glad some people are in agreement. not everyone can jump when you ask them too. Although in a perfect world, thats how it would be, the fact is, it is wedding season. In a few more weeks business dies down a little and people can get back to their regular schedule. If they were crrappy vendors...we wouldn't all have booked them and they would have more then enough time to get back to you quickly. You might want to think twice about someone who is at your beck and call everytime you need them....howcome they don't have more clients?? ya know??
