I came home from work today completely exhausted from the heat ,so I didn't notice that our message light was blinking on our phone. FH asked me twice to check the messages but I just kept brushing it off and doing things around the house.
When I finally took 5 minutes to lay in the bed with him and our baby boy, he passed me the phone and said 'I think there is an important message for you on here.'
Without a second thought, I grabbed the phone and started to listen to the messages. He picked up our son and sat up in bed, staring at me while I heard this:
'Hi baby, it's me. I just wanted to tell you that I love you and exactly 13 months from today I am going to make you my wife. I CAN'T WAIT! I love you sweetie. We'll see you when you get home.'
A terrific reminder of why I'm marrying him.

Thats a wonderful message. I get those....just in cards. It's a great feeling. And I have an almost 6 week old baby boy!

That is so sweet! And amazing for a guy to realize it's 13 months from today-most I know can't remember their actual anniversary, much less realize when it's that far away. (Fortunately FH is better than that!) Congrats and happy negative 13 month anniversary!

It's a fantastic feeling. It's nice to see the romance is still there even when you have a new baby in the house.
To top off the evening, FH got up with the baby all night last night, which is no easy task since he is teething and quite cranky these days. Gotta love him.
And Lisa you're right, we do have great guys.
