I just found out yesterday that I have a genetic mutation that could be a cause for the miscarriages. I am a hetero MHTFR... :(( Not as bad as it sounds. However, my body becuase of this gene mutation does not produce large amounds of folic acid and vitamin b-6. Also my blood clots to much...
So, the course of treatment is extra, extra folic acid, extra B-6 and a baby asprin every day to help my blood clots.
Can anyone tell me when the best time of day is to take the baby asprin. The b-6 and the folate pill I am taking in the morning with my prenatal vitamin. The folate (folic acid) pill I need to take three times a day in addition to my prenatal!
Thanks, Denise P.S. Is anyone familar with this?

Re: Hetero MHTFR!
The only thing I have heard of is to take the baby asprin after you think you ovulated. It is supposed to thicken the lining to help it attach.
