Hey

Thanks Samory for the wonderful welcome, figured i would c/p my post and say hey!

Well I figured since I am thinking about 2010, that I would say hey on here. I am already married and I am looking to renew my vows (as we didnt really have an original wedding). My husband is originally from LI, I am from London, England and we live in Indiana. We want to have a vow renewl ceremony/reception on LI and really am not sure where to start (especially being out of state). Due to the international aspect we are looking at anywhere from 50 to 125 people and we are paying ourselves so definitely on a budget. The timing is somewhat limited to may-august due to school (which ***** as i have learned things are a lot cheaper in the off season). But xmas/jan could be a possibility. Anyway just figured I would say hey!!

Re: Hey

Thank you everyone, I think I may be on the board quite a lot, as I really am pretty clueless, but thank you very much for the warm welcome.

Re: Hey

Thanks again, I think I might have my first question. We need a venue that will have our ceremony and accommodate a smaller wedding. Anywhere from 50 to 125. We are also definitely on a budget, so we need good value for money. I would like to realistically keep the cost down to 20k and under. I somewhat fell in love with looking at Chateau La Mer online, and I was told on here that they didn't do smaller weddings. I was told via email that their low minimum is 75, but I know I need to be look at more than one venue, I just have no clue where to start. I won't be on LI again until the xmas period, but I would like a good idea of what we can afford and would work by then so I can go look at them. Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas? Thank you!!!
