I was getting lost on the other thread - so here's a new one.
How's it going? Well, Rob and I are back in full gear with wedding planning. We looked at limos this past weekend - still can't agree on what exactly we need. (He's loving the Hummer though) My big news - I FINALLY ordered my gown! pic is in my profile - I've known which one I wanted but couldn't commit, and wasn't sure which bridal store to order from. I ordered from the wedding center in Commack, but I'm having a dressmaker do the alterations and change it around a bit. I also bought the girls pearl earrings with a little tiny diamond. I feel so productive!
anyway - just wanted to find out where you're all at planning wise. Hope everyone is doing well! *lea*

congrats!!! yeah!!! I just went for religious counseling for the seond time for the wedding. it was pretty cool- did not mind it at all. I am so excited to be married- don't know about anyt of you girls!!! 7 months- its flying!

I booked our wedding night hotel- the Fox Hollow Inn- that place is so nice. That is about it. I met with a couple of video people-i was not impressed. We have been making a lot of phone calls so hopefully we will get everything done soon.

We've got a lot accomplished
We booked all our vendors, but have to do all the picking out the details for reception food, cake, flowers and limos. We have to order our invites too.
We had our engagement shoot with Steve form Patken last week so we should be getting those back soon. And we finished pre-cana too. So now we wait until it gets closer so we can do more things.

Glad to see we have revamped this thread....I'm 9/13 and have booked mostly everything except video which I'm still deciding on. We have pre-cana in March (one day only Thank God) and now I'm working on getting the BM dresses shipped out. Have a hair trial this Saturday but still haven't found a make-up person. Also need to book rehersal dinner but almost everything in Westhampton is closed until March.
I got a ton done in January and I think I'll try to figure everything else out in March. Also need to finish my STDs to send out first week of March. We close on our house the w/o 3-3 so after that I can start thinking about everything else that n eeds to be done!
Flee flee your dress is GORGEOUS!
Has anyone gotten shoes yet? Geez, thats another thing I need to take care of. Just when you think you're down to the last few things....

fleeflee- I could not believe how nice it is inside. I am so excited to stay there. jenny- I think I am going to get shoes from Bridal Reflections-- I saw them in INSTYLE magazine and they have them there. If I see something else so be it but I am not driving myself crazy. I can't decided if I want open toe or not. FI told me that you can't have your toes showing at a wedding-- he cracks me up. His mom was making fun of him.

Lea- we have the SAME wedding date- I recently ordered my wedding dress as well - I just send my Save the Date cards out and I am working on chosing invitations. I haven't looked at florists or limos just but I have some appointments to do so in March (I live in Jersey now so it's hard for me to get home to LI to meet with vendors). My FI & I are researching HM (probably Hawaii) and are getting rates from our travel agent. Let's see....BM gowns are ordered, photog/video booked...but I need to get cracking!

Lea- what a great idea to bring this thread back to this board!!! Congrats on ordering your dress!! That is so exciting. I too am looking to book limos soon. Who did you go see? Let me see what else....oh- and we're going to finally register this week. We are going to register at Fortunoff and Pottery Barn. I can't wait to go zapping!

p&a - word of warning - pottery barn is EXTREMELY seasonal - i made the mistake of registering there... almost everything is unobtainable now..... i did luck out thought with a couple of things, but the people who bought me the items definitely cut it close!
