i went to a wedding w/the seating scroll thing, and im so retarded that i had to go back to it like 3 times cuz i kept forgetting where I was supposed to sit!!!

that kind of ruined seating charts for me !

I looove the look for seating charts, but we chose to do place cards. We are having unusual table names, so we thought it might be more difficult for people to remember what table they are at if they just look once at a seating chart.

Escort cards tell guests what table to head to. Place cards indicate where to sit at the table.

Escort cards tell guests what table to head to. Place cards indicate where to sit at the table.

i never even saw that ever....ekk i dunno how i feel about that, not everyone does that right???

escort cards have your name and the table number at which you are sitting. place cards are set at the assigned sit in which the host wants you to sit...

definitely not necessary.... ive never been to a wedding that had them.... imo its weird to tell people what chair they have to sit in... they probably wont listen anyway... so imo its a waste

My cousin does personalized wine labels so we're going to make the escort cards the small bottles and put the seating info on those.

I agree, but this was one of FH idea's. His reasoning behind this....no clue!

Because it is his plan he has to do it. Has he started, NO, so we'll see.
