Re: HEY EVERYONE!
There are so many in that price range. I'm getting married at The Meadow Club. I'm pretty sure the Scotto Brothers places are in that range (WEstbury Manor, Fox Hollow, Chateau Briand). You might want to try the Milleridge. I've been to several weddings there and it is truly beautiful. Your best bet is to get one of those books that has a listing of reception halls and their approximate prices and work from there.

Nicky: I totally agree with ChippaTriD on the Manor East. If her or I can be of any assistance about the Manor East just ask.

Re: HEY EVERYONE!
My friend got married at Villa Lombardi's about 4 years ago and told me that they were spending $140/head. I can't remember if it was a saturday or sunday night, but they did have a vienniese. I read the post that it is $80/head. How did my friend end up paying so much? Maybe she was including the price for everything. I'm just upset because I didn't even go to look there b/c I thought it was $140 per head.

Re: HEY EVERYONE!
Welcome to the boards! There are a lot of places in your price range, I suggest you look at as many as possible. Make a list of whats really important to you(one wedding at a time, a place for your ceremony, etc, etc), then look at as many places that really fit your priorities. Also if you need to stay on an exact budget, don't be affraid to ask the halls that you call the price range for your day & time, they will tell you. Most places will negotiate when your ready to sign, but if a place is starting over your budget, there is not much you can do about it.

Re: HEY EVERYONE!
I am getting married at Villa Lombardi's July 2004. We booked it last summer and it was already booked for that weekend. We wanted to get married on a Friday night because we knew it would be cheaper. We needed to guarantee 150. If you need to know anything else. FM me.

Re: HEY EVERYONE!
Hi and welcomed to the boards! I am getting married at Villa's on a Saturday afternoon becuase we don't have a large family and their minimum is 100 people. You should call them and see if they have your date available. Also, their price is the same all year round so having a summer wedding is not more expensive. Good luck with your future planning. If you have any questions FM me.

Re: HEY EVERYONE!
welcome!
villa lombardis is beautiful----and is around 80/head (not including tax) (base price--don't get me wrong though you get a lot for that price) but as someone posted above it can get up there (140/head) when you start adding the huge viennese hour and the seafood bar, etc.............. i think the quote of 75 might have been for a day wedding or if you guarantee a lot of people (like 225 +)--they won't quote over the phone--a couple of the places i visited wouldn't b/c they make a package (or so they say) to what you want!? the north ritz club is in your price range-give or take some, so is the watermill, john anthonys, harbor club, imperial manor, fox hollow (all scotto brother places)..........good luck in your search!

Re: HEY EVERYONE!
Welcome You find all you need here @ LI weddings . com The boards are great, all the girls are very helpful. My sister is having her wedding at Villa's in Oct. 2003. Villa's really has a break-down of prices for all nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) and the time of year. She is paying $80 pp ++ There is a showcase for $10 coming up in April. Maybe it would be worth it to check out. Their food is out of this WORLD Great luck planning, have fun
