Well I'm as 'set' as I'll ever be ... but of course still stressed out, big time

I don't think its still hit me that we're getting hitched this Sunday

Of course FH is cool as a cucumber .. He'll be spending Saturday at the Mets game wit his boys

let me give you a piece of advice from someone who's been there, and i guess this is for everyone with upcoming weddings.

I know there's alot of stress involved:

invitations
flowers
dresses
differences of opinions
DJ's
food
videos
pictures

all that stuff. But, know this, nothing is going to ever be perfect. The trick is, don't sweat the small stuff, if there were supposed to be 12 flowers in the arrangement and there are only 10, don't sweat it.

If you're mother's corsage was supposed to be red and it's pink, don't sweat it.

If the limo is supposed to come at 1:00 and it shows up at 1:10, don't sweat it.

This will be the fastest day of your life and once it's over, it's not coming back and believe me you'll wish you had it back.

This is the one day that is truly for you and your FH surrounded by everyone that is important to you. And it's the one day, when you'll dance with your spouse for the first time and realize that all the stress was worth it.

So, take time on Sunday to stop, look around and enjoy!

And if it gets too stressful, hit the bar at the reception hall and watch the Yankee game

This might be some of the best advice I've been given thus far when it comes to our wedding , and I really appreciate it

Honestly while I am a worry-wart at heart, I'm truly NOT worried about things going wrong at the wedding at this point ...I am fully aware that something will go wrong, but I refuse to let it ruin our day...

Mostly I just want to see everyone healthy and happy and enjoying themselves. And I cannot wait to be married to my wonderful FH .. he really is the best thing that ever happened to me!

We are having a wedding filled predominantly by METS fans .. so getting that TV tuned into a Yankee game will NEVER happen

ETA: I feel worst for my bro. He is a huge Yankee fan (might be a bigger fan than ME even) He is one of Anthony's groomsman . Poor guy, he will be spending Saturday at the METS game for FH's 'bachelor party' and is NONE too happy about it!

Thatched Cottage is actually on Long Island .. Centerport to be exact. Anthony was living in East Northport b/f he moved to Scarsdale with me (his family is predominantly on LI)

So we're going the whole big Greek church/LI reception thing

regarding your brother attending a met game, i will decline the tempting retort that i could easily insert here

of course, i'm not to high on the mets after last night's embarassment, but that is for another board

Trust me, once your on the other side of the I Do's' you'll see things much differently.

Like I said, stop to look around and take it all in You'll never have everyone that you care about in the same place again. In my case, we lost my grandmother and my aunt, about 3 months after the wedding - it was the last family event they attended. Would I love to have the day back to relive, hell yeah.
