Hey Girlies... I'm back!!
So what did I miss??
I see we have two new emotions..cool!
Arizona was GREAT! HOT! But great.. I will have pics to post this weekend, Mike took the digital camera home![]()
My Grandma & Aunt were soo happy to see us. And anyone staying in Phoenix, I highly recommend the Pointe Hilton at Squaw Peak. Its only twenty mins from downtown and the airport. It has a small water park on the property, and for those who love to golf, they have a sister property in Tapito that has a beautiful golf course. Plus at the pool by our room, they have a swim up bar with really great Pina Colada's.. yummmy!!!
We took a day tour to Tombstone, home of Wyatt Earp and the Battle at the OK Corral, it was too funny.. I took a picture of a UPS truck in front of one of the old west stores in the town..
Then we went on a day trip to Nogales Mexico, I didn't like this as much as tombstone, it's dirty, hot and totally over crowded.. but Mike got a bottle of Bacardi 151 proof.. for $9.00.. and ciggerettes were like $10-13 bucks a carton..only thing is they only let you bring one carton and one bottle of liqour over the border..
The only good thing about the mexico trip, is the pottery i got. I got this beautiful clay turtle, (I collect them & I will post a pic) and clay pot to make payaya, hand made for $14.00. My sister got this beautiful handmade mexican rug for $30 and I got the really cute straw hat for $15.00 and a turqouoise bracelet for $10. It's a really great place for shopping but you have to barter or they try to over charge you.
We flew on Northwest, which was great, both ways we had an empty seat in our row, so we could spread out. But coming home took forever between the time change and the 2 hour layover in St. Paul, we left AZ at 9:15 and got to NY at 8:45..
But the best thing, I really wish we had a video camera for this, in the water park, they have a lazy river that you can get on the big tubes and float around on, my sister and i almost pissed our pants trying to climb on this things, i almost fell out twice.. I wish you guys could have been there.. it was toooo funny!!!!![]()
