congrats on everyones engagement/marriages. i just have a quick question for you ladies:
what are some engagement gifts you received when you first got engaged? i need ideas
my friend already has a wedding planner book.. but i want to get something else.. i have magazines.
any other suggestions?

a wedding etiquette book, even though most of the girls here answer my questions sometimes I need to whip out the book and show people why we cant do certain things... its my bible!

I think that my favorite gift was my toasting glasses. My friend got me the swarovski on es, I know that they are expensive...but I think that its nice to get something that the couple uses on their special day. Although maybe if she has a theme in mind, it may not fit in to it.
Oh I got a vera bradley bag from my aunt to carry all my wedding magazines in and my planner...is that a good idea?

the day we got engaged I got planners, a ring holder, wedding countdown clock. then after we registered we got some things off there.
