Is she doing the catering? You could do a wine & cheese thing..with baguets ( crusty french bread)
You could give out french berets as the party favors?
Hmm.. this is a good one, I'll ask my sister.. she can find anything..lol

My friend's wedding was Paris/France themed since they got engaged on the Eiffel Tower. They named their tables french street names, had chocolates in the shape of the Eiffel Tower on each table and had a 5' ice sculpture of the Eiffel Tower in the center of the cocktail hour room.

definetly have to have French/Parisian music in the background (la Vie en Rose, etc...)
Will it be a brunch? If so, maybe have someone making crepes, have quiches. My cousin is a baker & actually made a huge milk chocolate Eifel Tower for someone who I guess was doing a theme like this too!
They could maybe do like a 'Moulin Rouge' theme in terms of the invites, decorations, favors.
