hey girls--i'm back!
sorry my review took so long but my HM lasted for almost 3 weeks and then trying to set up the apartment and work...........
so here it is
Villa lombardis
INCREDIBLE--food was excellent--service fantastic---the grounds are gorgeous---sorry to sound prejudice--but this is by far my favorite hall that i have ever been too--(i guess that's why i booked it!)---for anyone that will be a villa bride-you have absolutely nothing to worry about! there is always one of the owners there for every function---i can't wait to go back here again for someone else's wedding!---a few people from CA who attended my wedding described my wedding as a vegas buffet! b/c there was sooo much food (In CA they don't have weddings like NYers)....another person said the wedding had everything from 'soup to nuts!'...my mom got a million phone calls and so did DH mom the next day telling them what a beautiful wedding it was........the wedding just 'felt good'--everything went smooth, no worries, no complaints!---i felt so 'free' that day--all of my planning was done and now i finally got to enjoy all of my hard work--and i DID ENJOY myself--i had so much fun! i had a smile all night! for those of you who have planned so hard and got married know what i am talking about-that sense of freedom!! what a great feeling!!
wild rose video---top notch-on time-bill is wonderful and i can't wait to see my video---they are great to work with--i'll let u know more later when i get it back
mark of elegance limo--on time, clean limos, we had the rolls royce for us and it was so pretty! i loved it and it looks great in my proofs! reasonably priced-the owner is a sweetheart--i would def. use them again --oh and my best friend arranged to have them pick us up at the airport too!
cassarino for photo---jodi was awesome--on time and got everyone in order---my proofs came out great--now to pick out my album!
tommy's tunes----the one vendor that i booked on the spot (i have seen some others at showcases, and i have worked in a catering hall so i got my share of hearing djs--they are one of the best companys) --i never even looked at another dj company b/c i have seem them numerous times and have loved them every time i have seen them--they are very professional, on time, flexible, they know their stuff!...i even let my dj pick out my entrance song--one less worry for me!
flowers by brian...my flowers were gorgeous--i had 3 different shades of pinkin my cp and in my MOH bo-k-----2 different shades in my bm, and hot pink roses with stephonitos for mine.....the corsages and bouts were also roses.......they lasted all day/night.......they decorated my cake and my treasure box stand with loose petal (so pretty)
treasure chest and rose petal cones-linda's lovelies--i won it at the january gtg---she is really nice and the cones came out great
cathy from the sweet nut hut--
-was one of my top 3 vendors--i loved her and my mom even used her for my shower invites--i also ordered my ice cream scoop favors from her (which were a hit--so many people said to me--now i don't have to use a spoon that ends up bending!!)---she is a wonder ful person to deal w/ and even called me & left a message last week to see how everything went---she is like a friend now!! i will use her in the future-definitely!! cathy if u r reading i will stop in w/pics soon!

we took pics at the oakdale arboretum--very pretty place
i used pygraphics and they are also great to work w/---i will attach a link of my pic soon.....
i bought the sign in plate from the company in CA--they shipped quickly and i evev had a special picture in the center of it
shoes--i searched for them! (just like everything i else i planned!!)...craft shoes
hair and makeup--jennifer from fairytale makeovers---great job---i even changed my eye shadow colors from my original trial---she is very sweet
i made my own programs which took a very long time but i was very happy w/the result--just a tip don't wait til the last minute to do it like i did!
i also gave out bookmarks 1 per person as a favor as well
i had my pygraphics picture displayed on my place card table and then was brought in later to my reception---i originally was going to make my place cards but never did and these also take some time to fill out--so don;t wait too long!
i think i covered it all---if i think of anything else i will add it and i will soon give a review of my HI/CA/vegas HM
i had such a great day and it was all b/c of hard work, research, not settling, visiting more than one videographer, photographer, limo, etc., reviews from here, and spending a lot of denaro!!HA!---i wish i could do it again just not the planning!
