Hey girls! With random questions

For those of you that remember me...just dropping by to say Hi!! Everything has been going well for me. I miss my LIW girls!!!

I also had a quick question

What do you buy as a godmother for your godson as a gift on his christening??? I'm stumped

oh second question...

Where do you take a guy out for his birthday after 10:30pm on a freakin Wednesday??? lol...

Hi!!

I got my godson his gold cross for his christening. Thats all Ive ever seen given.....and money too. Or one or the other. You could also do a bond.

As for the birthday after 10:30 on a wednesday....lol...Im stumped too! hmmm....let me think. I mean you could always go for a couple of drinks or bowling. Wait, is bowling open that late on a wednesday? hmmm? What about movie and drinks?

present I would do a savings bond or money and an outfit.

as for the bday.... i would say either go out for some coffee, go to a local bar for a few drinks... or you can try dave & busters

He doesn't drink lol...Dinner would be nice..Something affordable but good..any suggestions??

You can get a bond at any bank.

Nevermind....he doesnt drink. I would say maybe just a nice chat over a cup of coffee at the diner.

As far as the Christening gift goes, I would buy a Bond. you could get them at any bank.

Life was crazy for a little bit but everything is starting to work out..Just got back from a 7 night cruise with on of my girlfriends, just bought a new car, have my own apartment but am now looking for a 2br to share with my friend, and have been dating a really cool guy for the past month and a half..lol, brief summary of the past few months...

Are you near Great Neck? Maybe you could take your guy to Simply Fondue for his birthday. It's a fun atmosphere and different from your normal restaurant. As for the godson, I think the cross idea is great. Or even just a savings bond would be a nice thought.

I would def go with the gold cross. I gave my goddaughter a gold cross and I also bought her outfit....I think that's an Italian thing though, the godmother is supposed to dress the baby and bring the clothes.

A Series I Bond. (In the long run the I is worth more than an EE.) - The parent usually uses the cash and then I'd feel like I didn't give the baby a gift you know? That's why I say a bond because it can age with him and when he gets older he can use it. I had a friend who's grandmother bought him a $5000 bond when he was born and when he turned 18 he cashed it and got $18000 and bought a car with it!

For my Godsons Christening.. I bought him the outfit..which was $300.00 I got him a bond and also gave him the Precious moments christening figure.

Typically the Godmother buys the baby's first cross for a Christening gift. I gave my godson the cross and a savings bond.

Late night Wednesday... no idea... Sorry!!!
