How was your rehearsal dinner? Did I miss the update?!

aw you're so sweet for thinking of me!!! I felt bad clogging up the '09 board with all my posts since there are so few of us left

The rehearsal at the church and then the dinner went really well. The priest had FH say his portion of the vows and it was clear he was seconds away of getting choked up! I am petrified we will be bawling up there when it's for real!!

Dinner was great and everyone from both sides was getting along really well. My bridesmaids loved their gifts: bridesmaid wine, a new sash since I hated what came with their dress, a purse that matches the sash and a scarf (all from J Crew), Nadri earrings and then hair and makeup done on the day of.

Now I'm just a little down about the weather. I've of course been stalking for the last 10 days and just NOW does it show a 70% chance of rain or snow. I KNOW it will still change, I'm just hoping it will change for the better!!!

Awwww! Dont stress the weather too much! Your day will be amazing regardless! Awww! I cant believe our last girl is getting married in a couple of days! Its very bittersweet!

Take it from me....it was the SAME exact forecast for my day, and unfortunately, it held....an all day, non stop, heavy, awful, disgusting monsoon...with a few flurries in the evening just for a nice eff you.

BUT it was still an amazing day, and once we were inside the RH and didn't have to go back outside again until after it was all over, it didn't matter. The only piece of advice I'll give you, and not even advice per se but just mentally prepare you for, is that if the weather is bad...you will lose a TON of picture taking opportunities, so when you get your pics back just try to remember that. It wasn't possible, we'd have gotten destroyed, but I'm so disappointed we couldn't get pics coming out of the church, in front of the church, in their courtyard, outside on the RH grounds....I'll keep my fingers crossed for you the weather isn't like it was on my day
