Re: Hey Greeksters

FMIL wants to do that like 2 days before wedding, but eveyone one I talk to says this is an outdated custom?? I don't know about invites, I think she'd just ask her sisters and nieces to come over that day. Meanwhile, where am I supposed to sleep???

Re: Hey Greeksters

yeah they come over and throw money and stuff on the bed and all the single women make the bed

oh! and then you gotta throw a little boy greekster on there so that our first child will be a boy lol

Wow I'm pretty damn italian (full blooded) from an extremely italian family and I've never heard of them doing this...I'm sure if I asked my mom she would know about it cause my parents are from italy but I never heard of it myself...I guess it's the new Americanized way lol. Of course I wouldn't mind having money thrown on my bed though

They don't do it in America anymore...my cousin who lives in Italy and got married there had her single friends 'make the bed' and then they threw money on it and there was other things....it was like a mini party with food and everything...lol
