Hey here's another stupid question!!

FH surprised me with a hat, 2 scarves and gloves last night. This was to assauge my bruised ego after a disatrous knitting fiasco.

Important Info For an Informed Opinion:
I like both scarves.
I only want one.
They are both black (the pictures just show the detail)
I don't like fringe/tassles.
The hat matches the cable knit scarf.
The gloves match both.
I can return the hat and get the one that matches the mohair scarf.

Which do I keep?

1. Mohair



2. Cable knit

If you dont like fringe I would go with the mohair....

Are either itchy? 'Cause I can't stand itchy scarves.

Not a fan of fringe either so I'd go mohair.

ETS: Monkeyluv, I just realized I never FM'd you back. I'll go do that right now.

I have a mohair sweater that leaves little mohair crumbs, like a trail, so you know if I've worn my sweater in the car, while sitting in my desk chair, etc. It drives me nuts. But otherwise mohair is very cool...

ETS: I SO cannot spell.

Bullet head is no good so I would go with the mohair, so long as it really isn't itchy as you say.
So what was the disastrous knitting fiasco? I can only imagine.....

P.S. Anniegrl... my cat unwound, tried to eat and then yakked all over the scarf I had just finished.

Oh - whew! I was imagining something far more grisly, like a knitting needle gone awry.....

I kinda likethe cable knit, but not the fringe & it sounds liek you'd prefer the mohair.
Sorry about your knitting disaster! I have been trying to learn how to knit sicne last year, but I had to stop for all that wedding nonsense.

Ooh I have a dog story!

Sammy has been all edgy with the work we're doing on the apartment, so when he's outside playing, he's been a total brat! Sunday, he ran into the front yard and decided to crawl under FHs work van because there was a super fun leaf he just HAD to have! He got himself wedged under there, and by the time we got him out, he had a slick of grease down his back, and red, irritated scrape on his belly.

Behold, the mighty hunter.

Well at least he's got some energy. Max just meanders around the yard EATING leaves & tree bark (bark, lol) ... then comes back in and goes to sleep on my LR furniture
