Hey June Ladies

When are you sending out your invites and what is your RSVP date? I just finished stuffing and sealing mine and want to know if i am to early.

So I will go first:

wedding: June 23
RSVP: May 19
Sending : ????

I sent mine out two weeks ago and im the week after you. You are definitly not early. I would start putting stamps on those bad boys and get them out

ETA: My RSVP date is May 30th

Awesome! I put them together and stamped them today. Did you put the 2 cent stamps on your RSVP's?

For the RSVP's i put 39cent stamps.

heheheheh.... I'm the early bride

the invites went out on Valentine's (we were engaged on that day last year) and the RSVP is the beginning of april!

I made this all early becuase we didn't send out STD's, and we have lots of foreign guests and guests with crazy jobs with tons of travel obligations.... As is, we were being pushed to send them out in January!

but a good portion of the RSVPs are in by now.... only about 10 maybes remain. the others are almost certain 'no's' ....

RSVP May 24-probably sending them 4/6 and yes unfortunately putting those ugly necklace 2 cent stamps on the RSVP envelopes

RSVP: April 20th (my b-day..hehe)

Yeah i know everything is early, but we sent out STD's a years ago...and half the guests are out of state/country...

I almost want to just put it in the envelope just in case.. but I heard they usually give like 2 week extensions or am I wrong?

on the topic of invitaitons...

mom told me the shower invitations were sent out... and so far she said she got one RSVP... a phone call from my friend.

This stands out to me, because she is the only one of a close group of friends who didn't RSVP for the wedding yet....

since she jumped on the shower RSVP, I think the horrible bridal nightmare may have occurred.... SHE NEVER RECEIVED HER WEDDING INVITATION

oh, I sooo hope I'm wrong. I'm going to call her up tomorrow....

Sending them out: April 23rd

I don't know what i'm going to do about the stamps. The post office told me they should have the new stamps one month before they come out - so that would mean April 14th. So hopefully i'll be able to get the new stamps before i mail them!!! But my mom is on the mission - she is going to the post office to speak to the supervisor to see what other options we have - lets see if it works!!!

And I didnt use the 2 cent stamps... maybe it will force people to send them back quicker! LOL

Thankfully my RSVP date is right before the scheduled stamp change date! I hope that makes people send it back on time, but I doubt it
