My brother got married at the Garden City Hotel last year!! It was amazing and prob one of the best wedding ive been to so far (that will change after mine of course! lol)

but everything the GCH provided was a amazing the food, service.

if she needs pictures or anything let me know, i have a ton to give her an idea of what its like.

Garden City Hotel was one of our final choices also. We were going to do a Sunday morning ceremony in their garden, then have the grand ballroom for our reception. In the end we went with the Royalton because I really wanted a night wedding, and I wanted a super customized wedding experience. We looked into Glen Cove Mansion and it was expensive and you couldn't customize a thing. Roslyn Claremont Hotel is in my town and they are SO beyond rude it's not even funny. I called about room blocking for my wedding, and I almost hung up on them. I don't know anything about their wedding/event planning services, etc. Don't know anything about the rest!

WOW! LOL I totally agree with all your reviews. Plus the Roslyn Claremont looks amazing online but when you get there the ballroom is actually on the small size. I think they said 204 was the max for them but I wouldnt even put 170 in there!
Also the bars are outside the ballroom, which is something I didnt like. And the Cocktail hour room could only seat like 100 people.
ETA: There is no place to take pictures outside. Also you can see the bridge construction from the outside..... kind of a turn off..
