I was in a bridal party last summer, the reception was @ the Royalton and I loved it. Food and service was outstanding and the place is beuatiful. GC Hotel the service was not so good, and the food was just OK, but the room is gorgeous and the hotel lobby is impressive Never been to the other places.

LOVE the Woodlands!!!

Absolutely beautiful mansion with an old world feel. My parents have gone to weddings there and said the Food was excellent!!! Plus for cocktail hour they include martini bar. fireplaces, black and white floor, spiral stairs...just gorgeous

I am VERY partial to the WOODLANDS!!! ...absolutely love the old mansion feel..feel in love with the cocktail room..spiral staircases....such a beautiful ball room ..the grounds are beautiful...great staff...just LOVE everything about it : )

Garden City Hotel..Very beautiful hotel...beautiful room.. but can be very pricey.

Glen Cove Mansion...Although i LOVE mansions and the old feel of them...JMO!!! but I really felt the mansion needed a face lift...the layout was not anything i was looking for...the hotel was open to outside guests and there was a chance you could see them entering and leaving....did not like the shape of the ballroom...just not my taste

We looked at all of those places except for Harbor Links and our final decision was The Woodlands (so I am biased).

The runner up would have been Glen Cove Mansion - it was totally gorgeous. However if you have more than 200 people - some would have had to sit outside the French Doors in a connecting room.

The Garden City hotel is very beautiful. I have a preference for ballrooms with windows - but the place is very classy. We chose not to go there because my brother's prom was there. I know they have done celebrity weddings though. It would be an awesome pick.

We thought the BM was hands down the best we met with at RCH. Again though - they max out at 200 people - so we were worried about that.

I thought the cocktail room at The Royalton was the nicest we'd seen. They had seating for so many people and the upstairs bridal suite rooms were amazing. This was the most expensive quote that we got - and so that factored in. My sister went to a wedding there last summer and thought it was wonderful (and they had a great afterparty in the cocktail room).

I loved the outdoor cocktail setup and balcony overlooking a lake at the main room of Village Club. Also, the BM seemed very on top of things.

There were several reasons we picked the Woodlands - I saw some fabulous rainy day pictures from a bride on LIW that I loved. Also, I love the marble floors, the outdoor cocktail space, the signature drinks, the circular drive, the fountain and gazebo in the back, the food was really good when we had dinner there and the ballroom is so big. I didn't feel like a larger wedding would be crowded there at all.
