Hey-makeup trials?

Hey-makeup trials?

Hey girls

I was originally planning to do my own ahir and makeup due to fact we will be taking our pics first thing before the ceremony (which is at 11:30am) BUT several peeple have recently warned me against it, especially the makeup because many pics will be taken outdoors in the early morning light which is supposed to be the harshest. YIKES!

So i would like to have my makeup done for me-if not on the wedding day, at least a few times before so I can get the knack of the applications and colors. Does anyone know of anyone good and not too expensive in NYC? Or at leats know of sites maybe where I can start? Someone mentioned Sephora but sometimes the girls in there have such BAD makeup on themselves it worries me lol.

Thanks!

Mia of BridalLounge will travel anywhere to you.

But if you want to learn how to apply it properly, I would go to Mac at either Henri Bendel, Saks, or Bloomies.

Although some of the ladies at Mac have some CRAZY makeup, they DO know how to apply it properly and can help you learn how to do it for your wedding. You may have to buy some products, but you'd probably want to do that anyway.

Hmm MAc makeup...is thata good brand? Never used it but I am always afraid to try new stuff because I have very sensitive skin and proes clog easily. Better than bare esscentuals, for those who have tried both? I want it to look natural in the light.

I love MAC!! It's the only eye shadow that will stay put on my eyes all day -- and look just as good at night as when it was put on. I actually use both MAC and bare minerals. I used to strictly use MAC but I love the bare minerals foundations. Maybe use a little of both! Give them a try. Also MAC has a great pro-wear all day lipgloss that will stay on throughout your whole wedding.
