we took FOCUS back in april, and went over it in July.. it went really well. and we started pre-cana 2 weeks ago, and have our next meeting thursday. the 1st meeting seemed to go pretty well... we'll see how thursday goes i know one of the conversations is supposed to be centered around sexuality... im sure thats going to be interesting,,, im sure some people will open up more than others

i just looked at your profile... are we the same person? haha were getting marreid @ st. brigids, reception @ WM (ok, we knew those 2 pts already).. but then were also getting marreid by Fr Jim, and i got my dress @ david's in carle place also!!! haha.. oh, and your name is different than mine by 1 letter. thats crazy

hahahah thats too funny!!!!! yea when i saw your profile i was like no way how cool is that!! is father jim the new one or the one that now works in lindenhurst? He used to be in that parish and my FH knows him he was there for them when his mom passed away and for all the christenings in the family not too long ago. It is so nice of him to do the ceremony for us. Im trying to get them to do the ceremony earlier than 5 but they said only 430 thats still kinda late our CH starts at 7 and we are having a full mass. Our neighbor does the pre cana the McIvers. yea I heard about that sex talk i think thats way too personal if you ask me. i dont want to hear other peoples sex stories I get enough from my girlfriends!!! lol but thats ok- strangers eh not comfortable with that. im waiting for my call to do the test and start pre cana.

yes i think fr. jim is the new one.. we met with him a few weeks ago... i really like him!! Diane is the one in charge of pre-cana, right? i think she sets everything up, but i didnt know if she ran a group. FOCUS was funny... b/c it matches up what you and FH agree on, BUT, it also factors in where the Church stands on issues... so there were some things that we got LOW (i think religious values was one of them) b/c even though me and FH agreed, the church didnt

its on all different issues... but when they do the average, of course the chuch has their ideas on everything but when you meet to go over it,,, they really dont push religious stuff down your throat
