Hey Newlyweds...Girls who had an 8pm Ceremony...Question about....

Hair/Make up and photographer. The ceremony starts at 8pm and the photographer said he'll be there 3-4 hrs prior to the ceremony start time.. Hair/make up mentioned that 4 hrs seems too long... what did you guy's do? also to add: My fiance and I are seeing each other prior to the ceremony and having photo's taken as well with the bridal party/famly.

1st of all 8 pm ceremony...wow...what time does the reception start?

2nd of all - even though my ceremony did not start at 8 pm - I dont think it really matters what time you are starting - I think 3 hours prior is about the norm for photographer to arrive - depending on what time your hair & makeup are getting done - I specifically told my photographer not to come before a certain time b/c I was going to salon to get hair done & then would have makeup done at the house. Ultimately you're paying him/her & you can tell them when you want them to arrive b/c you know what you want in your pics/proofs & what you dont. HTH
