I picked my menu tonight!!
George the maitre'D is great!!
First we discussed the actual menu. He threw in another cocktail station, but because we already had a sixth thrown in when negiotating I was able to get my maritini ice louge throw in for free. He also threw in intermezzo which I love, but wasn't willing to pay extra for. We reviewed all aspects of the menu and then discussed all the deserts in the desert cafe and the cake. Their cakes are simple, but I have heard they are yummy. We went with yellow cake with chocolate mousse. Round stacked teirs with a whipped topping not butter cream. The also have some design choices, again simple, but nice. We also are going to bring in snow flakes to put on the cake instead of flowers.
We picked linens, included are either ivory or sand. We chose sand, they have other colors, but I think they are extra. Wehave to call 10 days before and give a final count and also make an appointment to drop off all favors and stuff the week of.
He also showed us their printed menus and gave us place cards to fill out if we choose to use them.
On top of the three entree's we also picked a vegetrian option (We picked eggplant parm, they also have grilled veggies and rice or couscous, or pasta primara.) This counts as a fourth entree, at no extra cost. They also will be able to accomdate our two vegan guests with a vegan dish at their request.
