Saw that you're from Huntington. Are you having your ceremony at St. Patrick's by any chance?

We met with Father Steve, but we'll be having a friend of the family's performing the ceremony. I really like Father Steve, so I was thinking about incorporating the two somehow.

No precana yet. I figured that would be more towards the end of Spring.

What are you doing for ceremony music?

Are you regular parishioner there?

Father Steve is great. I actually belonged to the St. Hugh's parish growing up and over the past couple of years started going to St. Pat's...although I hardly even go to church----so bad.

oh yeah- ceremony music...i'm just going to use the organist and singer they provide. I went to a wedding there this summer and the singer was amazing!

I was baptized at St. Hugh's. I have yet to go to a mass at St. Pat's. I know...shame on me.

From Hunt. Stat. originally, moved out to Lake Grove as a young child and now I'm back in Huntington.

I'd say it's 50-50 when it comes to church. I'm not too upset over not going. I've met a lot of people who go to mass regularly and they're the biggest sinners!

I love Huntington...I still live at home...I hope someday I'll be able to afford to live here on my own with FH!
We have to go to NJ when we get married cause that's where he works . I don't really want to go there but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

Yeah, we're loving Huntington as well.

Where does your FH live now? NJ? Or does he commute?

When are you going to start looking for places in Jersey?

Funny situation...he's actually renting our basement apartment from my parent's. (They won't let us 'live'together until we're married!) So he's here in Huntington...commuting to Jersey everyday. I work in the city so it doen't make a difference to me.
We're not going to start looking in Jersey until after the wedding...one thing at a time!
