Re: hey question girls!!
I just got my package from them this weekend and watched the DVD last night. I thought they were good, very well priced, but not what we were looking for ... so we are not using them. But they do seem to be very talented.

Re: hey question girls!!
I met with After Hours and loved the guy who owned it! He was so down to earth and they looked like a great company but in the end not exactly what we were looking for.

Re: hey question girls!!
ACtually the guy who owns it used to be the drummer in my church group!
We ended up not going w/them b/c although I think they're great musicians, I wasn't thrilled w/any of the singers, especially the girl.

Also I was concerned that on the 'dj' part of that video that there didnt seem to be a ton of people dancing.

i`m not too worried about that. FH`s family is crazy!! we don`t even need an mc his uncle will take the mic away anway and take over. they`d dance with no music! lol

Re: hey question girls!!
To me, they seemed a little too showy. I don't want anyone annoucing every time they do a new era of music - could just be done for the video, not sure. But for me, I want a band that can blend into the background and just perfrom great music. I don't want anyone in the band doing any dances on stage (looked corny to me) and I agree, the female's voice could have been better. And, it seemed they were more comfortable with the disco and dance stuff - which is i guess what a lot of people want - but I want a more rockin band, and I thought the best part was when they did the rock songs!
In my opinion, you need to decide what kind of music you want played most at your wedding, what kind of 'style' you want the band to have, and then find a band fits that idea.

Re: hey question girls!!
well i guess it`s diffrent because i`m only considering the dj and mc. i don`t want a live musician so i don`t have to worry about that really. i dunno....i think he seemed very energetic and all that but i have like nothing to compare it to!! (except tommy tunes who i saw at my cousins sweet 16 and tgif sounds who i saw at a grad party)
