Hey Teachers...

Any one work at South Side High School in Rockville Centre? I have a principal's interview (2nd one) there on Friday!!!

OMG, good luck, I am a teacher-in-training, hope you get it! what do you teach. I am going to be dual in Elementary and Secondary English or dual in Secondary English & Biology, I heard it is a good idea to have Secondary as well as Elementary? I also hear that Spec Ed is good to have with anything because of all the inclusion classes that are going on now.
any ideas on all that?

I am a high school biology teacher in training also! I just finished my jr. high student teaching, now I am on to the High School. Best of luck with your job interview!

I am Guidance - Special Ed is always a good idea. If you are going to do Biology, I would say that you are better off doing a second science instead of English - take a look at the want ads - 99% of the districts that are looking for science teachers want you to be dually certified (meaning you can teach more than one science subject) - just a suggestion.
