Is this true? You lucky girls if you are! I am working...we have an early-evacuation drill and we get out at 2:45..big whoop! lol

I work on Long island and I get out 15 minutes early at 2:00. FMIL is a teacher too and she has off tomorrow!

My mom was a NYC teacher. They have it rought Her school was open in major snow storms while my dad who worked in Levittown would often have off. Mom would just call out, but still! She said they had to stay open because city kids often depended on school for their meals.
