Ladies please do not be harsh, I just want to get my message across to help people. I have no reason to lie, my wedding is over, and I am done I just want to help upcoming brides. I have never experienced something such as this. Please take my message and pass it along as you feel fit. Thank you for ally your replies.

Funny thing is, though, my MOH actually DID have a bad experience with Bridal Suite in Centereach.

I used to try to sniff out the phonies around here, but I am trying not to be so suspicious of people.

If this newbie didn't know we (LIW) existed, had a bad experience and then found out about us, she may be feeling like any scorned bride and want to warn anyone and we happen to be a newly discovered outlet.

If she was pushing another salon, then we should raise an eyebrow!

Thank you very much, No I did not know about this website. I am not from around here and I am not a big internet person. I am not trying to cause trouble I just want my story heard so people can learn. I am an older woman with no reason to behave like a child please anyone reading this just read my experience and take it for whatever you feel fit.

I agree.
I know someone who also had a VERY BAD experience there. I don't see her story as far-fetched.

I don't think the experience is far fetched..What i do think is weird is thatit was
claimed that she just found this web-site, yet put her sisters dates down as
a wedding date, this is her only post, has said nothing about the rest of her wedding,
etc etc....

I apologize if i offended..it is just we see this kind of thing everyonce in a while
and we are all guilty of pointing fingers
obviously someone else thought so too since the original thread was pulled!

I am sorry that people lie on this website, however this is not the case with me. I would love to share the details about my wedding but the first thing people said was that I was a liar. Nobody even cared about my story, just because I made a mistake in the profile does not mean I am a liar. I had a wonderful wedding and with the exception of the dress incident everything was very lovely. I received an email from LIW telling me the original thread was harsh and it had to be refined which is why I changed the wording to reflect the incident more than my anger. I am doing this because I thought I was going to help people. I did not think it would turn onto a finger pointing name calling match. Again for those that just choose to read my original please keep that in mind when shpoing there.

So there are a few of us who believe you and the others are just suspicious because of past experiences with fakes around here (usually vendors, sometimes bored 13-year olds)

Now that we have all hashed out if you are real or not, let's move on to the important stuff...

Tell us about your weddings. We really do value brides reviews and we want to know yours. Please share with us. If you look around, you will see quite a few reviews and a lot of nice comments about the reviews. We are hear as a support system for other brides and newlyweds are still brides (for a year, I think)

The wedding was at Windows on the Lake we had a beautiful outside ceremony lakeside, We bought a package from there which had the limos, photographers, flowers, videographer, invitations etc. It made for a very easy event because I already had all the vendors they were all affliated with Windows. The food was great and the service was excellent. I used Audrey Jimenez as my makeup artisit, a friend of the family found her. She did a wonderful job.
