How did fh propose?

I almost messed up the surprise lol. He wanted to take me to where we first went out but the past 3 days straight before hand to through me off he was arguing with me so i didn't want to go. He picked me up from school and I was still fuming and as he was driving he kept on asking me questions like 'what kind of ring do you want' blah blah blah... So I though he was just trying to be nice and make up for the past 3 days.
We were a few blocks from my house and he asked 'what would you do if I asked you now' I didn't pay much attention to him and looked away so needless to say he pulled over and almost hit a fire hydrant lol. He got me a promise ring before hand so I though he was joking with me when he was taking the ring off, I look over to glance and do a double take and it's actually the E-. After blacking out 3 time's I said YES! and was speechless the whole weekend.

Originally I proposed to him. Caught him completely by surprise, as I asked over the phone (his fault, he kept asking what i wanted to ask him).

Fast forward several months later, this past december we get my engagement ring. We were on our way to New Jersey, and I was a little upset that we had the ring but he wouldnt let me wear it yet. As we are about to walk out the door, he gets down on one knee, tells me I am his best friend, and he has never been happier with anyone than he is with me, and it would be a great honor to him if I would be his wife and partner in crim....I mean life

I cried lol

It was the day before Halloween and I was suppose to work that night (every year I work at at a halloween store as a second job), they had enough people to work that night so I decided not to go in. I called FH to let him know that I wasn't going to work so he said he would come over because the next night he was leaving for a long weekend away.

When he came over I was sitting on the couch and he handed me a pumpkin and then lifted the top. Inside the pumkin were orange and white M&M's that had Teri Will you Marry me? printed on them and the ring box was buried in the middle-you could see the bow from the box sticking up



he had originally planned on meeting me at my day job and doing this, I was sooo much happier that it happened at home and not at work

He proposed a few months ago (no ring)/spur of the moment.
Then...I finally got my ring while we were away for our anniversary. It was right next to an amazingly delicious chocolate cake. MMMM Nothing too fancy, no speech but it was simple and perfect. and the cake was amazing

That is such a great story!! I am a huge Stallone fan so I can really appreciate that story. Love it!!

We went away to a B&B up by Hunter Mountain the weekend of Dec. 15th. The weekend of the first 'big' snow storm. We stopped at Woodstock along the way. Had some beers, did some shopping. There was so much snow if was beautiful!!! Then we headed up to Rosenhaven B&B in Haines Falls. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!

Went out to some great burger joint - Last Chance. They have 190 bottled beers on the menu!!

The next day we had such a blast! It really reminds me why I am with him. We had so much fun just hanging out in the lodge at Hunter, then going to the local pubs, playing pool, darts, and getting lunch. We went out to an amazing dinner that night...Black Diamond. The food and wine was out of this world!! It was beautiful inside and they had live jazz music. After dinner we went out in town to check out a local band. Then we went back to the B&B.

In our room the Fireplace was going, he brought out chocolate covered strawberries, cupcakes, and wine. After giving me his 'proposal' speech he got down on one knee if front of the Fireplace and asked me to be his wife! I said YES!! It was so surreal. I wanted him to do it all over again!!
