Re: Hi
Welcome. I envy the months that lie ahead for you. It goes very fast and I hope you enjoy every moment of preparing for your daughter's wedding. I had a wonderful time helping with my daughter's big day and to a slight degree with my son's. Both were in 2004, just 6 months of each other.
You will love this site. It is extremely well organized and easy to use. You will find the girls to be extremely warm and generous with their advice and suggestions. Please feel free to ask us moms also. There are a few of us who have been there already. All the best. Mary

With all this snow, July seems years away! 4 months goes very quickly. How exciting for you. I hope everything is on schedule. How are things going. Did you find a dress for yourself?

Yes Mary, Things are going along just perfect. I am really enjoying all the fuss although I think it will increase as time gets closer. I have my dress and the MOG has hers and although the swatches didn't look the same they came in just a slight shade off of each other. So the MOG said'do you want me to order a different one?' Isn't that so thoughtful of her. I know why we have been best friends for years! I told her 'No' tlet them try and fiqure out who's who's. Anyway they are both our children!

That's wonderful! It's rare to hear of such a wonderful relationship between in-laws...and everyone wins. So much easier for the couple. I'm curious, were you friends first, and then your children got together...or did your children introduce you to eachother?
All the best. Mary
