I wrote a very lengthly response only for the site to tell me I wasn't logged in

Anyways...He proposed on the way home from a football game...We were in the car...Nothing too crazy!

Just a little backstory--We dated when I was 16-20 and I broke up with him when I met my ex. I married my ex although I knew that I was making a mistake. I thought of my now FH..every.single.day! I left my ex and we got divorced and now I've been with my FH for a little over two years. I've never been so happy in my life!

Being that I've already had the big wedding..I'm not sure if I want to go through with that again or do something small. Decisions! Decisions!

eta: I just wanted to say--I used a lot of vendors on here for my first wedding so if anyone has any questions, please feel free to fm me!

I just wanted to say ONE thing and I hope this doesn't come out wrong by any means because I do not mean it like that. You say you might not want to do the big wedding because you did it already. My cousin is going through the same thing, he did the big wedding already but his fiance did not. Make sure whatever you decide FH wants it as well. I'm sure you will but I know how upset my cousins FW is about him making these plans and she actually wants a big wedding. I just keep telling my cousin 'You might have done this before, but she hasn't and she might not want that.' Then again, he's stubborn and doesn't really listen so we have to say it to him a couple of times.

I TOTALLY agree with what you said! I would love to have a big wedding again but we'd be paying for it this time and we all know it can be a huge expense. If he wants a big wedding though..I'm all for it!
