Hi!
I'm new here- I'm Lisa, from North Babylon but living in Cape Coral, FL now. My fiancé Ryan and I met when we were 15 and are finally planning our wedding in July 2015. Since we are down here in Florida (with our beautiful 8 month old daughter, Ava), we don't really have an opportunity to go and check places out, so we are relying on our family and friends, and these forums, as a way of choosing where we want to get married. We are planning on having a relatively small wedding. Probably around 100 people. Our #1 choice so far is Miller Beach Surf Club, as we really want a beach wedding. And it's super affordable. My girls already ordered their bridesmaids dresses, so that's a big check off the list!If anyone has any other suggestions on venues, or any other advice they'd like to share, please let me know!

Hi! - Long Island Weddings
I have friends in cape coral! john palmer? tony likness?anyway Windows on the lake has a an all inclusive package for 100 for about 10k, u get dj, limo, photo, video, and some flowers. sea cliff manor offers it to buy only for the winter dates, none all inclusive was 65++ for a Friday. coral house is also on a lake but not a beach. oh chatue le mer it's on the bay. and u can opt to take a boat to be annouced into your wedding. Lombardi on the bay. sand castle and sands at lido beach.
I hope this helps. I only prices for winter fri and I don't have quotes for any of the places I suggested after coral house, just thought those were good beach themes! good luck!!

Hi! - Long Island Weddings
I loved miller beach surf club! i was just concerned with the amount of space i didn't want people to feel cramped for my 125 person wedding and they didn't have a area for the bride and groom to sit. it worked well for my uncles 50th birthday for 80 people but i felt like if there were more people there it would be very tight. some other venues on the beach are : Sands at Lido Beach,Crescent Beach Club, and 360 East at Montauk Downs....Best of luck!

Hi! - Long Island Weddings
I heard Miller beach surf club is nice! Something I found really helpful when i was looking at places online is to not just look at their websites/their facebooks. Search miller beach surf club wedding photos and photographer pages will come up with pictures from people's weddings. It helps you see how it would be set up for a wedding and to get the whole idea of it!

I agree. Don't just look at their websites. Some of them are very misleading and it wasn't until I actually went there and had such high hopes and was disappointed.

Hi! - Long Island Weddings
My sister had her eparty there and it was amazing. The back deck and view is really nice. It does have a small dance floor. Food was good too!
