Hi all! First post as MOH!

just introducing myself! you might know me but I must be secretive as I am planning my sister's surprise bridal shower!

i have a few questions about where to begin... i really don't know where to start. has anyone planned or is in the middle of planning a bridal shower? any suggestions on what i should start doing? aside from searching for a restaurant and figuring out guests, what else needs to be planned in these early stages?

thanks girls! without going too much into detail we're thinking about having it around February or March since her wedding is in June

I feel like I have planned a million...you know always the bridesmaid FINALLY the bride. Any questions I will be happy to help!

maybe try to incorporate her color scheme or theme into the shower

figure out how many people will need to be invited before you pick a place so you know how big or small of a place you need

and figure out with her mother and the rest of the bridal party how it will be paid for - that's probably very important to do first so you know where everyone stands on budget

Congrats on being choosen for such an important role! I was a moh for my sil 3 yrs ago.

You have to think of what you would like the centerpieces to be. For example my sil loves gerbera daisies so I ordered different color gerbera daisies for each table. I also made her a collage of pics of her & my bro.
Favors.....games....'funny gifts' I bought her some cute things from Spencer gifts and randomly gave them to her to open in between the regular gifts....just adds a little 'excitement' to the shower.
