Hi everybody...I'm back.

I didn't post all that much to begin with so you might not have even noticed I was gone

Well to make a long story short we lost my grandma about a month ago and it pretty much took all the wind out of my wedding planning sails. She had been sick off and on but at the time she passed she had actually been doing really well so it completely threw me and I was devastated. I just couldn't bring myself to come on here because all of a sudden I wasn't excited or happy about my wedding - I wanted to cancel everything because my best friend in the world wasn't going to be there.

I've had some time since then to get better (and lurk a little!) and now that my wedding is 18 days away I'm starting to feel a little bit excited again. I know she wouldn't want me to be miserable so I'm trying to get back in the game! There have been some things I wanted to respond to but I really felt like it would be too trivial unless I explained where I've been first. I dunno if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I've enjoyed reading about all the amazing looking weddings that have happened in the past few weeks. Everyone looked gorgeous and I congratulate all of you!

I'm so sorry for your loss! Someone posted asking where you've been...so you were missed...hope you get excited again since that is what your grandma would've wanted...a happy bride!!!

I know you will miss her so so much on your day, I have a few relatives who've passed on in the past year too and will be very missed... Time helps, and acknowledging them in little ways has given me a little boost, I pray it will for you too.
I believe your grandmother is HERE, and will be THERE smiling down on you that day, and truth be told there will be no one who will be happier for you that day...

But its good to have you back and in fact, I sent out an APB for you just the other day!!! I see now that the pic didn't upload ($#()$%U() but it was cute cake of CookieMonster with a big choc chip cookie in his mouth!!

awww sweetie I am sorry to hear of your loss ~ you and your family are in my thoughts & prayers .....and know how you feel I lost my grandmother last year ~ Just remember she will not be with you in body but she will definately be with you in spirit and looking above you both on your special day! I'm so sorry for your loss!! And it was probably the right thing to do to take a month off and just reflect and just allow yourself to grieve! Sometimes it makes it worse if you rush to get back to 'normal'….so you did the right thing! I'm sure your grandma is proud of you for moving on to enjoy your wedding day!! She will be with you, in your heart & mind!! Here's some prayers for you!
