Hi Everyone

Hi Girls
I'm new. I can't wait to start planning.
I've been peaking around the last couple
of weeks and finally signed up.
Do you think I have enough time to plan
an October2005 wedding?

Hi!

you definitely have enough time! I'm planning an October wedding too! I only had an extra two months from you - but in two months I've book my Church, reception hall, photographer, videographer, and band. And I've picked my dress and bridesmaid dress! LOL

I mean, granted, I pretty much knew what I wanted and have a very specific taste - but my point is, it can be done.

I love planning, it's fun. I think a longer engagement would've driven someone liek myself nutty because I hate waiting around and doing nothing! Enjoy it!

oh PS - And I've done all of this from out of state (it does require some flying back and forth - but the internet is a wonderful thing!)

You definetly have enough time! You may not be able to get your first choice on a few things - but you still have plenty of time to get things done!

Hi, I would definitely think you have enough time. There are so many cute things you could do with an october wedding. Have you looked at any reception halls yet?

CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement!!! Isn't it exciting!?

I am a bride planning from out of state. We got engaged this past Oct and are getting married this May. We wanted to get married this spring/summer and actually only had 3 weekends to choose from (due to my grad school schedule). We were able to find a whole bunch of halls who were not only available, but very excited about getting someone to book those empty Saturday nights. It actually worked in our favor. Since it was kind of short notice, the chances of them booking anyone else was slim, so there was more room for negotiating price.

Booking vendors might be tricky, but as long as you are somewhat flexible and willing to call lots of places, you probably won't have a problem. You just need to get moving within the next two or three months! We lucked out since our hall offers an optional all inclusive vendor package, which has been very helpful.

Congratulations and welcome!!! You have some time but not too much. You'll need to get your hall/church booked ASAP and then photo, Video, DJ, Dress. I think you have a little more time for florist, hair, makeup, etc.

You definantly have enough time, word of advice, places will pressure you to make a quick decision and tell you that there is no time left. Don't sign anything unless you feel this is absolutely the place for you.

Hi there. Im sure you could plan a wedding in time as long as you have your running shoes on and checkbook in hand Narrow done you searches through bad reviews from the other ladies and only hit the places your definetly interested in. Do you have a dress? Alot of places you need atleast 8months. Let us know if you need help.
