Hi everyone? Just wondering if I'm the only one that has ever gone from wedding nutso to NOTHING in zero to sixty?

I MISS IT!!!! and I miss you guys so much! I had a dream last night that they unblocked liweddings at work, so I tried it again today and kept my fingers crossed as I hit 'enter' and - NOTHING. I was so bummed. Can I tell you... I still haven't written my THANK YOU'S?!?!? I still haven't picked my pics or songs for our WEDDING VIDEO!!! We're getting dressed again in our wedding clothes to take the beach pics in the spring, so I haven't even picked ANY pics for the wedding album yet. So weird... I really feel like the wedding didn't happen, and it's so weird knowing there are so many out there who are still planning for their big day! I'm really jealous that you still are in this AWESOME time of having it all to look forward to... don't get me wrong - being married is great, but I LOVED being a bride! I always think of Monica on 'Friends' after she got married and she says - all depressed - 'Now I'm just somebody's wife'. Just wanted to say... ENJOY EVERY MINUTE of planning your weddings... I totally wish my whole life could be planning my wedding. I think it was some of the best moments of my life! So, Happy planning!!!

Written thank yous...how many months before you did I get married and I just ordered them like a month ago...Video Who knows when that will be edited and songs picked for that?

Ladies you're making me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my lack of enthusiasim. We haven't picked our TYs yet, video/album? Oh who the heck knows!

I devoted so much time to planning my wedding that the whole idea of anything 'wedding' related seemed like a played out song on a radio.

I have no desire to do anything wedding related whatsoever.

Its amazing how fast life can change in a matter of a few months

You girls are still awesome though. This is the only part of my whole wedding planning process I cant seem to part with.

I was very happy to be done with wedding planning.... I think the 1st words out of my mouth was - phew - I'm a wife!!! It was sooo much better than being a 'bride' for me - bride is so temporary... wife is forever....

Then, a month later, I find out I'm pregnant. Now being a mom is forever too....

You are not alone sweetie, I feel the same way. I try not to think about it because it gets me sad. I love being a wife but I really do miss being a bride at the same time

Well, except for the preggo part! Not up to that quite yet!

Heck yea. Went into almost full blown post-wedding planning depression. Doesn't help that to save $$ for a house we're living with family in close quarters.

I decided to take up scrapbooking, with HM as my first project.

oh, GOOD! I feel SO much better!!! I see people who gave us gifts at the wedding, and I feel like they're cursing me for not sending the thank you's yet!!! I wrote about 40 on my lunch break today... WAHOO!!!

Sarah...HI....I was wondering what happened to you/where you went! I'm definitely not on as much either but I felt like I hadn't seen a post from you in forever!!!

I agree - definitely miss the planning. I mean I too love being married but it was fun planning a wedding. I have 2 friends getting married this year and one comes to me with a lot of questions and asks for advice and I love it - she knows I miss it.

I just got my thank you's - wrote 4 out so far. Wil get them done eventually.
Haven't done anything for video yet...they won't give me the unedited version until I hand in my song pics and baby and honeymoon pics which I have yet to do b/c we didn't go on the honeymoon yet......we leave 3 weeks from this Friday! I am counting down the days - can't wait!!! It's been a long time coming - quite a stressful year...a happy one but stressful too with DH's dad being so sick and dying the week of our wedding! I need this HM/vaca more than ever!

Can't wait to see my video though.

And I never did write a wedding review...I started one but never finished b/c it's my busy season at work. I'd like to finish that someday soon!
