Hi there- I just wanted to say hi, since this is my first time on these boards. I'm getting married on June 27th, 2004. So far, I have the place and the band, and we're currently looking for a photographer and videographer. Any suggestions? Preferably someone in Nassau County, b/c I live in Staten Island (my fiance is from Wantagh), and it's hard enough for me to travel back and forth to Nassau to get stuff done. So far, we've looked at JoVon and Visual Image, and next week we're meeting with Ira Rosen and Kornfeld studios. Does anyone have any info/opinions on any of them? Thanks for any suggestions!

I suggest you use the search option on the board to look up specific photographers. The popular ones on the board are Verdis, Patken, Spellman, Gray Studios, but the other girls will tell of other ones to look at, and opinions on all of them! Welcome to the board, its very addicting, I myself just found it a week ago.

for photo i am using Patken. They are wondeful. very pretty photos and cater to your needs. Whatever you want they'll give you, if you dont want it, no problem they will take it out.
I love dealing with them.
For video we are using Wild Rose. We walked in, sat there for 4 hours (we were talking and the time just flew by) and I almost cried when I was watching one of the video's. We put a deposit right on the spot.
Definatly talk to the girls on here for more feedback. its a very very addicting place

I'm getting married at East Meadow Jewish Center and I'm using Scott Evans Music. We used them for my Bat Mitzvah and my sister's wedding, so it was an easy choice.

Welcome to the boards. I know you said you wanted to look in Nassau but I would take the time and look at Wild Rose - I believe there are girls who are getting married in the city and they use them. Once you see them you won't want anyone else for your video. Where is your reception?

Welcome to the boards. We are using patken and wild rose, I recommend you go see both of them, even though they are in suffolk county, I am in nassau and I hate driving outside of that like suffolk and I did and I dont regret it. Have fun with your planning and good luck.

Hello and welcome! I never met with the photographers that you asked about so I am no help there. However, my girlfriend used Paul Marino who is in Massapequa and her pictures were great so you may want to check him out. I would tell you to see my photographer but they are located in Suffolk. Good luck with everthing!

Welcome to our 'home' . For video I would check out Bellarino . They are wonderful. There are alot of girls on this board that either used them or are using them (like me). I am using a photographer in Brooklyn (where I live). If you are interested, check out Marcy Studio .
