It's been a while- hope you are all doing well. I see so many have gotten married and were such beautiful brides- CONGRATS! And even some that are pregnant!!! Congrats on that as well!

I am doing... okay. I mean, yes we are happily married but all my self worth went out the window yesterday when I got laid off. I am here at 8AM with NO plans. It sucksss so bad. I hate not working. WIth that said, if anyone knows of ANY job- office related, operations related, executive assistance related- I don't care. I need something. Please let me know. I would appreciate it!

I'm sorry to hear about the lay off, my job also just did a ton of job eliminations, and it's really scary. Those of us that are still around definitely don't feel so settled.

Sorry to hear about your job. We're losing ours at my place too...its very sad. We have to resubmit our resume to be rehired by the new company & we are encouraged to look outside the company.

Its a terrible time right now, but chin up I think we'll all somehow get out of it.

THANK GOD DH is doing well financially BUT I know I am going to go insane if I don't find something. I hate being bored and need a job to fill up my days.

If all else fails, I am off during the summer collecting unemployment. Thankfully, my job was considerate enough to offer me 4 months severence in addition to 20 days cashed vacay time I never used. I'll be alright either way but anyone who knows of ANYTHING, please- send it my way!

So sorry to hear about the job I know my office is currently doing a bunch of hiring but I think they are all higher level positions. I work at a securities evaluation firm in the city. FM me if you are interested in looking at the positions and I'll shoot you over the URL. Good luck
