My fiance has 2 sister in laws, one of which I am not fond of. When I was thinking about who I would pick as bridesmaids I really wanted to pick the sister in law I get along with but I thought it would cause conflict with the other. My wedding is 7 months away and over the weekend my BM's picked out dresses. Now I am thinking I should ask the sister in law I like and not worry about the other one. Do you think it is too late to ask? Do you think she will be upset that she was unable to help pick out the dresses? What should I do? Thanks girls.

Re: Hi Girls, I am new. I have a BM question?
Well first of all WELCOME . You should ask the person that U feel is going to make YOU happy and comfortable on your day. If she really wants to be in your wedding then it wouldn't matter that u already picked the dress she would do it because she wants to be there for u . GOODLUCK>

I am in a simaler situation, although one of my FH's brothers is getting married after us. One of my FSIL is in my wedding the one I do not get along with is not. I was not going to ask her to make everone else happy this about my FH and my happiness!

I agree. You should ask her. It's your day and if you want her by your side then do it. I wouldn't care if the dresses were already picked out. I would just be happy that I was a part of the BP. As for the other SIL, you can't please everyone or like everyone

I think i wouldn't ask either. Not becuase you picked the dresses or because time has passed, but rather to keep the peace. I wouldn't want my wedding to cause any hard feelings btw the FSIL's, your new family members for life.
