How many of you have a 'debbie downer' when it comes to wedding planning? Somebody who is constantly making snide or negative comments on anything related to your wedding?? And how do you deal?? I'm at my wits end with a certain someone....And I already try to keep contact to a minimum, and through FH.
i have one i just dont speak to them
Their is one person who is anti-marriage, I speak in front of her when I want and just try to ignore her the best I can even tho it is hard.
Thankfully no one has been yet but I don't talk about my wedding unless people ask - that is why I have you girls
No one is a downer...but my sister and MOH is was not into lots of planning for her wedding, and she sometimes says, 'it's so far away, why are thinking about this now?' I thankfully have bm's that are totally into planning...but it would be nice if it wasn't also like 'it's almost two years away!!'

honestly, i don't talk about my plans unless someone asks.
relationships have changed ever since i got engaged and i'm now cool with it.
just keep on truckin basically is my advice
i think you just have ignore the comments...just do what is going to make you happy. It is your day!

i have more than one debbie downer in my life...i just dont talk wedding with them ever...i only talk wedding to those who ask me
I have a few, but I honestly don't let them get me down. These are also the people who will ask me about my plans and have nothing nice to say about them.
One of my BM's doesn't like to dress up, so she's been very critical of the BM dresses that I have chose for them to wear. I really just ignore her. She shouldn't be like that. In anyway. And my mom-zilla is just a pain. To fix that problem, I hired a D.O.C so I don't stress the day of (which the stress will be mostly from her). Just remember its your day and you are allowed to be a little selfish. :)
No debbie downers in my life thankfully. I only talk about my wedding to the bridal party and not even really with them that much (mostly my FH hears about it). What ever you do, just enjoy this time because there will always be people out there like that and the best revenge is for people to see how you're living and if you are happy, then it's like a slap in their face.
i dont have that problem but if i did i just wouldnt talk to them about it. if they cant be happy for you then why tell them your plans?

yup... unfortunitaly its my mom whose a very opinionated typical italian mother.
like i said on another post earlier.. i just try to keep my mouth shut and ignore it.
