Hi everyone, and thank you for all your kind wishes.

We just got back to my Mom's from the hospital. Here's the deal. Dad couldn't sleep last night, because his stomach hurt too much. So this morning he asked Mom to take him to the ER. On the way to the ER, the pain started to move up into his chest, and he began to feel short of breath. Being that Dad is a heart patient with a stent, he was immediately moved to the front of the queue for care. Luckily, the doctors were quickly able to rule out his heart issues as source of the problem, so that's good. However, they have not yet been able to determine exactly what the problem is, so he's been admitted.

It looks like Dad will be there for a few days while they run tests and try to heal whatever is wrong. I was planning to be here on Saturday anyway (it's my parents' anniversary), so I'm going to stay with Mom and keep her company until then.
