Almost everything. Have place, band, dress, rings (all three), and officiant. FI is having tux made. No progress on honeymoon. Big project now is photo/video and floral.

If you want to splurge on flowers you should check out who I am using...His name is Matthew Robbins but the name of his company is artfool. www.artfool.com

His work is all of all of the mags especially Martha's. She actually just made his the floral contributor or something (I am not sure of his title). He is the nicest person too.

If you want a photographer in NYC you should check out Cappy Hotchkiss. I would have gotten her but I really wanted someone who knew Oheka well. She has a website too.

I will totally look into that for photos, thanks. I have actually seen your florists work at a few weddings we have been to--he did FI's colleagues wedding fairly recently and I was just really underwhelmed. Then when I heard what they paid, I was really underwhelmed. From your photos it looks like his work will be gorgeous for your day. In fairness, it may have been because I had such high expectations. We are blessed with really generous contributors so we have a pretty flexible budget but I want to be super excited about my wedding vendors. That is how it happened with my band, we were at a wedding last summer and we heard them and were like WOW, we are so going to get them.

I am sorry to hear that. His prices are high so if they did not have a large budget I could see how you might feel that way. He did my shower flowers and they were beyond amazing! I was so thrilled. There is another really great florist from Brooklyn called Arielle or something.

BTW, it usually isn't a good idea to criticize someone's vendor nine days before their wedding!!

But that was the thing-- they had a huge budget and money was essentially not a factor. She gave him carte blanche and was really upset.

I was not being critical. The thing about vendors are they are so subjective. Your wedding flowers will be incredible. I was just commenting on one experience that I had. But I see that on these boards all the time -- one person hates a vendor who is the star of someone else's, so I just take criticism (and praise) with a lot of salt.
