for the most part I came up with songs I definitely wanted and didn't want, first dance, parent dances..etc. I left the other stuff to the band to do what they do best...that's why I'm paying them.

We just left it to our DJ. With a few requests that were important to us.

I agree, why do you feel you have to make up a list? That's why you hire a DJ or a band. I guess I'm just sensitive because I work for a DJ and some brides give me 100 songs to play.

It just makes the djs job that much harder

I would just do an outline of the stuff you like and let them do the rest

Yes, make a list of songs that you want to hear and songs that you don't want to hear, and leave the rest to the DJ. Other wise you will make the DJ and yourself crazy!
