Hi Everyone! This is my first post! I have been on here a lot researching and such....but I got officially engaged 3 weeks ago! We're looking into the North Ritz Club-heard good things about it on this board---anyone else have any other input about the food and such?? What do you think about $78/pp w/o tax for a Saturday afternoon in Nov 04? Sounded like an amazing price to us, just wanted some input! We completely fell in love with the place from the second we walked in! Everyone has been so amazing and I've only been there twice! Thanks in advance for the input!!

Congtratulations on your engagement and welcome to the boards! I booked my reception at the NRC for June 2004 and I absolutely love the place! Out of all the places that I went to, I thought that the NRC was the most elegant and classy catering facility and I love the fact that it's only 1 bride. For me, I also liked that no one has really heard of it and its has a very new and modern look. I have only heard great things about the place from friends of mine who have been there in the past few months. The food is excellent as well as the service. I think there is a bride on this board getting married there this weekend, so I'm waiting to hear her review too. Anyways.. congrats again!

I am getting married at North Ritz. i had my food tasting a while ago and it was great. Every time I go up there I see the new additions that have been added. So far, they have been great to deal with. I think your price is very good. I also got a good price for May 04. Everyone who has been there loves it. Someone from this board is getting married there tomorrow. i am sure she will report a full review when she has the time. Another bride got married there two weeks ago. We are still waiting for her review also. She gave a brief one saying that everything was great!

Thanks so much everyone! I'm so glad there are other NRC Brides on here--hopefully soon I will offically be booking that place--I totally agree about being the only Bride and that its brand NEW!!!! I love that none of my friends and family have had weddings there! I hope that doesn't sound snobby! I just want our wedding to be different-not another run of the mill wedding.... That place is the best kept secret of wedding halls!! Even though it is booked throughout 2003 and into 2004, a lot of people don't know about it-@ least since it changed owners from Villa Victor.

Welcome! We looked at the NRC when it was still Villa Victor and under construction. It looked great, and the price is very reasonable - especially for LI. They were one of our top choices, but ultimately we did not go with them because we couldn't meet their minimum to get the place to ourselves. Otherwise, we would have strongly considered booking there. We met with Dennis and he was wonderful.

I just looked at the NRC and they quoted us $80 for a sat. afternoon in april. I think it is a great deal and the place is beautiful. So nice that it is a one bride place. We really liked it, but will probably go with the fox hollow because the minimum at the NRC is a little bit high for us...and we absolutely fell in love with the fox hollow

HI AND CONGRADULATIONS! I JUST RECENTLY BOOK THE NRC FOR SUNDAY EVENING NOV 23, 03 I'VE WORKED IN THE PARTY BUISNESS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAVE BEEN TO MANY CATERING HALLS- SO IT WAS TUFF TO FIND A PLACE I HAD NOT WORKED AT OR GOT A SPECIAL FEELING FROM. THE MINUTE WE WALKED INTO THE NRC I KNEW I HAD FOUND IT. I DONT THINK YOU CAN GET MORE FOR YOUR $ CONSIDERING THE SERIVCE, EXCLUSIVITY AND AMOUNT OF FOOD. MY ADVICE IS TRY AND PUSH FOR VIENNESE-THEY WILL PROBALLY WORK WITH YOU. WELL GOOD LUCK! KEEP ME POSTED!
