Hi, it's me....
My computer is working for the moment and I'm going to try and catch up, but that might be impossible. Forgive me if I miss responding to an important post!
My hormones are working in overdrive today, as poor MichelleW witnessed earlier. All I feel like doing is sitting here and crying (which is what I've been pretty much doing on and off today).
I'll catch you up on a few details: first off, on a good note, my sugar level in the morning FINALLY went down to 87 on Tuesday, but don't get all excited for me yet, because it went right back up to 99 yesterday and a whopping 100 today -- and this was AFTER my insulin was increased to 26 units on Wednesday night! I totally give up -- this damN thing will be regulated by the time the Bear Cub is born.
On another good note, I don't have to schlep out to Garden City to see the Diabetic Nurse again until 6 weeks post-partum! YEAH!!! One less thing for me to do each week.
On a bad note, increase in insulin again.
But I lost another pound (good) and the Bear Cub is doing excellent, which is all that matters!
But my dr is putting me out on disability starting Aug. 25, which means my last day of work will be Aug. 22 -- which means I better get my butt to CompUSA and get hooked up because that only leaves me 2 weeks to get my LIW Fix!!!!
I thought she would put me out as of Aug. 29, but nope, she wanted to put me out this week!!!
I'm not ready for that yet -- I have mountains of work to do and even though my bosses have been really good about my coming in late and leaving early, I still have stuff to do. And with the darn computer not working, it's really getting to me. Plus my one boss is PMSing today and is so friggin neurotic, he made me cry (which is when Michelle saw me lose it as I delivered work to her floor).
I'm 100% mentally ready for the Bear Cub -- I think I have been since I was little -- it's just that I think everything else is starting to get to me. I've been really patient and calm, but all these visits and all this running around and nothing's ready in my house yet (it was almost until the showers and now we have to put all that stuff someplace to get ready to paint and get the furniture) is starting to get to me. Another pity party, don't mind me!
In the end, I know my reward will be the best thing and totally worth all this!!!
Thanks for letting me vent and I've missed you guys! I have to go catch up.
