Hi Ladies!!

Hi ladies,

i have been watching the boards for a while... and just decided to join. I cant wait to pick your brains and plan my dream day!

i am assuming i need to start with a place to have it? I want to stay in nassau county and would like a place that will hold btwn 275 and 300 people. any ideas?

Hello and congrats!!! Maybe start out by trying crest hollow country club, woodbury country club, the inn at new hype park.

Also use the guide on here for reception venues. PLUS google!!!

In Nassau there is Chateau Briand - I went to a wedding there that was huge and they give you basically the whole place so you would be set with 300 people there.

Also I think you should look into The Crescent Beach Club. I couldn't use it because my wedding is so small, but they do the ceremony as well as the cocktail hour right on the beach which is so beautiful!

There is also Floral Terrace in Floral Park...one wedding at a time so 300 is no prob.

Welcome! I only looked in Suffolk - so I can't be too much of a help. But I did book pretty close to Nassau - at the Venetian Yacht Club in Babylon. We're having 250 there and I anticipate plenty of room. Good luck!
